There are always volunteer opportunities at the Union Rescue Mission. Regardless of your interests, you can plug into our many areas of ministry to serve in the Kingdom of God and to make a difference in someone’s life.

We encourage you to download the below Volunteer Application, fill it out, and bring it by one of our locations. Below is the contact information you will need depending on where you would like to volunteer.

There are several ways to donate to the ministries of the Union Rescue Mission. One of the primary ways we receive donations is monetary gifts. We are completely funded through donations, so each dollar you donate goes toward the operation expenses for this ministry. This includes, but is not limited to, utility bills, house/building repairs, supplies and food not donated, and general vehicle maintenance and gasoline for Union Rescue Mission vans used to transport our clients.

If you would like to make a monetary donation to the Union Rescue Mission, then please click on the yellow “Donate” button to your right. All of our donations are now made through the security of Pay Pal, so you may make your donation with confidence.

Individuals, churches, schools, or civic organizations may donate collected items, such as food, cleaning supplies, trash bags (8 gallon to 33 gallon), soap, shampoo, combs, brushes, tooth paste, tooth brushes, bleach, laundry detergent, razors, deodorant, etc. These items can be delivered to each facility or distributed to all three facilities. This is the donor’s choice. If you are an individual donating collected items, then you will receive a tax receipt for you in-kind donation. Collected items are received Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. unless otherwise scheduled. Please contact Justin Mendez at 501-374-1108 to schedule a time at the Men’s Facilities or Dorcas Van Gilst at 501-374-4022 at the Dorcas House.

You may also donate your time, skills, and materials for any repair jobs we may have at our facilities. If you are a skilled tradesman or just handy around the house, then we can definitely use your abilities to complete some much-needed repairs. To inquire about repairs, please contact Justin Mendez at 501-374-1108 for repairs at the Men’s Recovery Center or Dorcas VanGilst at 501-374-4022 for repairs at the Dorcas House.
